Who would've guessed that working full time and studying part time would be this tiring? I did expect it to be somewhat taxing but not to the extent that I could fall asleep while waiting for a page to load only to wake up 2 hours later in shock wiping my drool. Disgusting, I know. Ohh please, give me a break. I'm functioning mostly like a robot these days trying to juggle work + studies + my possible alternate career. I usually get super tired and sleepy by 10pm. My grandma is probably more energetic than me. Ohh who am I kidding. It's only my second day of work! Now I truly feel for other people in the workforce who chants TGIF every Friday. Weekends are so precious! Will update more when I have more time and energy.

Does anybody know where can i get a healthy dosage of creative juice?I am desperate cos I'm THIS close to digging out my brain with a fork out of frustration.This whole magazine module is driving me nuts and I'm just not inspired at all.

It's either I do something that I am passionate about and am interested in ,can be sure to bring in advertisers but awfully mainstreamed and common and get F for creativity but A for research and justifications or do something completely out of my comfort zone with high level of risk and I know nothing of and probably get A for creativity but probably F for feasibility.le sigh.

Sucks to be me right now.

I've disappeared for a long while because I found it tough to blog about personal stuffs knowing how easy it is for people to stalk another person through the web these days.Making this blog private is a huge hassle and I'm just ~~plain lazy~~ too busy for that.

I'll be honest.I freaked out a little when I accidentally found that an ex classmate of mine was reading my blog(i walked past her laptop and saw my blog staring back at me from her screen and gasped and looked away pretending not to see it).I set up this blog with the purpose of keeping friends updated on my life and whine here like nobody's business but I started to feel ~~embarrassed~~ ~~disturbed~~ uncomfortable when someone i don't know that well googled my name and read stuffs i wrote about myself.

there are many small and cosy noodle shops in tokyo and at areas populated by offices,you can see many businessmen queuing for seats during lunch time.before we went to tokyo,we managed to do some research(which is very little since we only booked the ticket 1 day before the trip and packed in frantic and throughout the entire week there i felt that it was so surreal cos i went crazy during the packing&planning frenzy) and found out to my horror that it's kind of an insult if you don't slurp your noodle in Japan O_O

i cant slurp noodles for nuts and usually end up making kissing noises.i am such an embarrassment.worst case scenario is choking while i attempt to slurp.super unglamorous T__T

but yeah.you can't find men in suit slurping noodles in unison in Singapore or Malaysia,i think?no photo of them slurping shown,obviously.or i might have been chopped into pieces and made into human sashimi by some yakuza -.-

we both took a sip and went O_O "eh not plain water?why their barley taste so weird one?" and then i saw one person adding that into their 'soba tsuyu' to drink -.-

it's expensive to snap one in singapore and it's not only expensive to snap it in malaysia but to find a decent purikura machine to snap photo is already a challenge.but sigh,i like to snap and keep them and i have a whole box of em' in my room.

they have so many purikura machines in japan and the photos that they produce are so so pretty♥ they give you free eyeliner and lipstick HAHA look at the boyfriend.

4.machine that masks your peeing sound

thinking about this cracks me up.apparently,girls are not allowed to pee loudly in japan.or gives out smelly smell when you shit FTL.i saw a group of girls(who are strangers) gossiping and laughing when they heard a girl in one of the cubicle pee O_O

so,you go into your cubicle and proceed as usual.but if you have the need to mask your peeing sound,you just press onto the button(toilets at different places has varying pee masking machine) right before you pee and a (very obviously) recorded flushing sound will play.

and the whole world would know that you pee loudly but have decided to play the recorded flushing sound to mask it.

5.since we're at the topic of toilets,i might as well continue with their mighty toilet bowls.

seriously,you shit or pee and then you press the button accordingly to clean yourself up.and then the one at my hotel room at that time has toilet seat warmer.

let me tell you,toilet seat warmer is like your best friend during winter.i mean,hot showers are close behind but hot showers give you super dry skin.it's like,you turn yourself into a walking raisin within minutes!

but it's still close behind cos you can't possibly rub yourself all over the toilet seat to keep warm.i mean,technically,you can but it's just wrong.

hello.i am back to update again.this time,it's because i have just done editing photos for my second collection and am having insomnia due to 2 reasons.

1.i am going to sell stuff at a flea market this saturday.and i'm having headache cos i dont know if i should lug all my stuff there and sell everything away or save for my future collections
2.i forgot about my retainer for 10 days.obviously,they haven't been very happy and are now taking revenge cos my gums hurt like #$#%*$%@! and it's starting to give me migraine FML.

THE SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED

during the cruise trip.
.

so,i went for this trip right before the hometown trip.anyway,can you guess what happened that made my thigh get this?
.

it's not very obvious in the picture but i had blue black and some abrasion cut thingy which hurt like $@#$(%"*"@!!
.

i got it from a toilet bowl T__T
.
.
not just any toilet bowl but the one that was in our cabin.that thing is evil,i swear.
.
so,one day,i peed and of course,i had to flush right?but the flush button is about 2 cm on top of the toilet bowl when the cover is down.so when the toilet seat cover is up(of course it's up at this stage cos i just peed,remember?),it sort of cover the button.
.
so you can either put the cover down and then press the flush button or sneak your hand in between the gap to reach for the button.here,let me illustrate..

i didn't want to touch the toilet seat cover so i did the latter and my arm accidentally pushed the cover and since the toilet is small and i have limited space,my thigh was near the toilet bowl the the toilet seat just KIAP'ed my thigh and shocked me to no end.
.
i mean,having your thigh being clammed by a toilet bowl seat cover whatever thingy is no small thing alright?i didn't even know that it's possible.
.

the second incident was scarier.well,the toilets in the cruise work the same way the toilet in the airplane.they do the vacuum suction thing along with the strong suction sound.
.
one day,i shat.and it just wouldnt flush :( the water level in the toilet bowl kept increasing every time i press the freakin flush button.the thought of flooding our cabin with toilet water and my shit terrified me :( ;( eh ohh wow so pretty.i accidentally pressed but my second emoticon has eyelash.i shall stick to using ;( then.but only have eyelash on one eye?okay neh mind.

sorry i sidetracked.but yea.that toilet bowl was evil.i can never look at toilet bowls the same way again.

i am feeling quite sad now.another separation.though temporary it still suck.first,i had to be separated from stephy when i came to singapore and then friends from st francis as most of them are international students,so they either went back to their home country or further studies in us,aus etc.now it's mj's turn le sigh..

i'm gonna leave for gz and hong kong on wed.and yes,my japan trip and taiwan one is not done yet but it will be done for sure cos i need something to look back and a self reminder of where i went.

because honestly,presentation is such an important aspect in life.i mean,practicality is important too but when it is practicality vs prettiness(does this word even exist?)i admit that i am often swayed to the latter(point is proven when i wear heel a.k.a torture device).fine.call me superficial or whatever la.i think it is the no.1 reason that women shriek when they see their credit card bills from shopping.

the day my sister got married,it almost turned into the TVB drama of the year.i was the coordinator of the event so i had to stand outside the hall most of the time or run here and there(in my awesome 5 inch tall heels no less) shouting my pancreas out to direct people or whisper to cue people.i didn't really get to watch the solemnization ceremony and had to watch all the march ins from outside like this.

anyway,when i was watching my sister marching down the aisle the first time,i suddenly felt this familiar tingly sensation in my chest.it was not a good sign.flash backs of her telling me about her dream wedding from many many years ago started playing in my head..and i was finally watching the event unfold before my eyes.my vision was blurred.ohh no.i started tearing.

i was happy for her.maybe it was from the absence of sleep the night before that made my judgment all haywire because at that time i was feeling so difficult to let go.among all my siblings,she was the one i was closest to.and i believe she's the only person who shares the same sentiment that it makes sense to say that you have nothing to wear although your closet seems to be full of clothes.

DOES ANYBODY READ THIS THESE DAYS ANYWAY?

and if you still do,i really don't get why since i update so irregularly and at a pace absolutely nothing near to frequent.

i just found out was that me being indecisive,fickle-minded and have the tendency to exaggerate is because i am a middle-child.i was like,stunned for 5 minutes or so before the lightbulb lighted up on my head.imaginary one,of course.no wonder i've been like this all along.it's never really my fault O_O

and i also realised that if i dont start blogging about my taiwan trip or my japan trip from a month or two ago,i'd still be blogging about it by the time i'm 50 years old(sorry,well you know now that i'm only exaggerating cos i'm the middle child and all)

june is gonna be a really busy month for me cos first of all,i'm going on a cruise trip with the boyfriend and his parents which is gonna make a pit stop in vietnam.

honestly,i am not as excited as i was when i was going to japan or taiwan or even thailand last year with my siblings.i mean,what is there in vietnam other than hanoi river and malaria *insert gasp here and i dont know,crocodiles?motorcycles?sorry,i am not really equipped with knowledge of what's fun in vietnam.and another thing is i have sea sickness.this trip will last for 6 days T__T i hope i'll survive.but i guess the good thing is i'll get to spend time with the boyfriend hehe.

and then the day that we reach singapore we'll have a mad rush to go back to my hometown right away for my grandparents' surprise 50th anniversary O_O i know,i feel that i'm crazy too.but i completely cannot contain my excitement to go pasar malam(though we have to act like international spies and ensure at all cost that my grandma wouldn't be able to spot us cos we're kinda part of the surprise) and I'M FINALLY GONNA MEET STEPHENIE AFTER 34873491274812 YEARS!

and since it's the holiday period i am hoping that i'll bump into many ipoh friends that i havent seen in a long time :D ohh we'll be bringing the boyfriend to eat ipoh hor fun,'ngar choy kai',cendol(singapore ones suck seriously -.-) and as many as we can fit into our short 4 days trip ! i am stoked !!

kay then after that i would have to rush a crystal signboard for my sister's new outlet and end of the month,i'll be leaving singapore again for my big project that i haven't tell many people about.i hope it will all go well.

and i feel like im at this big crossroad of life where i am confused and undecided of which path i should take and it's frustrating me to no end :( all i know is i have a big dream,a long list of things i wanna accomplish and i am determined letting myself only room for success and not failure.i really pray that it'll all turn out good in the end.

i know,i have gone MIA for 10 centuries.i didnt have time to sleep or breathe properly since i got back from my taiwan trip because i was the bridesmaid and also a coordinator for my sister's wedding.

BRAIN VOMIT

i think i'm gonna have some minor freak out session soon from the stress of applying visa as i've been going back and forth from home to embassy.there's always something that goes wrong.either i forget something or something does not meet the requirement because of something that another person in the embassy said.

i think i've gone 10 shades darker too from walking 20 minutes to the main road to flag a cab under the scorching sun for the past few days -___-

sometimes,i just feel like saying "eff this shit i dowan to go anymore #%&$*!! give me so much of problems and cost me so much of money taking cab" but everytime i think of tokyo disneyland my heart softens FML.why am i like this? T__T i am now in a dilemma if i should still go or not.sigh.

have been having my final UTs on mon and tues and gonna have them again tmr and fri which explains my disappearance cos i have been mugging like maaaaddd and stayed in school till almost 11pm today.crash course,how lovely right?i have eyebags as big as a store room by now.can put junk food inside and take out to eat when i get hungry or bored FML.

i actually am left with 5 hours to sleep because i have the shittiest time slot for examinations in the entire humankind history.8 freaking 30 am -__-

2009 was..

bittersweet.(but mostly)sweet.too fast.too much.a crazy rollercoaster ride.the year i got to know myself.

bad news is,cheese dropped a tooth sometime in dec and another one of her bottom front teeth is loose but no sign of infection.we thought that it's cos of old age at first but the vet told us it's just because being a shih tzu,she has flat nose and small jaw.so her teeth is all messy and her gum couldnt hold her teeth properly and it has to come out.and another one also has to come out due to tartar buildup(also more common when you have messy teeth) T__T she has to go for scaling and also pluck out her teeth next wed and we've heard many stories about middleaged to old dogs dying from the general anaesthetic drug.HAIH.feel extremely gloomy whenever i think of the risk.

after the halloween party,i decided that i am never going for another halloween party EVER again.i only went for the experience of dressing up and seeing other people dressed up as all sorts of people/things.we kinda regretted it.we queued for a full 3 hours with so many inconsiderate queue cutters and it was sooooooo freaking damn packed in the club that my feet couldn't touch the ground for a few brief moments when i walked and my toes got stepped on many times -__- some dudes(i think dressed as the hulk and some greek god or something) and rubbed their sweaty topless bodies against me which was so gross.so yup,i am never going for another halloween party.

sorry,i sidetracked too much.some of the things that was in my to-do-list are to 'pan leng leng'(means doll up in cantonese) more often.don't spend so much money till i go 'pokai'(broke) even when i am sad.shop alone and use retail therapy moderately.try to save crazy loads of money.be genuinely happy.find a job!plan for my future!nag my sister to plan for her wedding.i feel so bad i made my bro unable to be one of my FBiL's brother cos of my own problem.but nvm.let's move along.

super impromptu trip.we booked the flight tickets and hotel 3 days beforehand.imma roll the entire trip into one post.

first day.
i was down with flu and sore throat and we all only had 3 to 4 hours of sleep the night prior to the trip.

we found out that my bro booked a hotel 45 mins away from the city.got conned by the taxi driver right after we touched down.70% of excitement was gone.had lunch at hotel lounge and discovered that they had nice phad thai.

our room.love the bathroom cos it was so spacious and you can look at BKK scenery while bathing if you like that kinda thing.

while out hunting for my sister's wedding gown tailors(she had a few) at sukhumvit.stumbled upon the best thai mango salad in BKK while we were lost.walked around for hours and my bro's slipper broke -__- had to find last min replacement then continued our adventure.

spent another hour being lost and then we found one of the tailors.i loved the all white decor and some of her vintage furnitures.isnt this couch charming?

took cab to a place which was supposedly near another tailor we were looking for and had lunch at this place which were recommended by the ppl that area for having nice local food.made us so excited till we saw how most of the customers were foreginers and the food sucked T___T

after finding the tailor,we thought of going shopping while we wait to meet someone for dinner.

went to this place that has wholesale and stuff but it was already 60% closed.spent 30 mins looking at ugly clothes and panties.we were mighty thirsty but the roadside stall selling drinks were closed.some local men there offered us what they had called soda water.note to self.NEVER EVER GET THIS DRINK AGAIN.went to a beer garden called mao deep.

it was a total waste of time as the person we were supposed to meet was almost an hour late and already had dinner when we were supposed to meet for dinner.i got a cut on my knee which wouldnt stop bleeding for an hour or so.me and my sister left at 9 plus as we didnt like what we see anyway.went to suam lum night bazaar.maybe because it was a thurday night so most of the shops were closed early too FML.saw a pair of shoes i really really liked but it was pretty expensive.i went back to look for it the next day but couldnt fint the shop T__T went back to hotel empty handed.we were so scared in the taxi as the driver was driving us through unfamiliar roads double FML.ordered room service for phad thai at 2am for dinner.both of us went to bed with gastric that night T__T

me and my sister woke up at 10am and missed the breakfast lol.i developed an ulcer :( then,we rushed out to her tailor at sukhumvit for fitting but the dress was not ready -.- walked bravely around that area to look for very very authentic thai food.hehe.we found one stall with many locals.

we had to use one hand to eat and the other to swat flies hahaha.and the utensils were not really washed properly so you could taste the previous customers' saliva but the food was really good.especially the soup with pork and veggie.no idea what it was called as a local helped us to order.

after buying fabrics again( but we got the wrong material this time T__T ) and went for measuring session at another tailor at pratuhnam,it was already 6pm.we rushed to this mall called prathunam plaza or something which was 20x better and bigger than far east plaza but it's at 7pm.tuk tuk ride was super fun.

only managed to buy some stuff hurriedly and then rushed to MBK to get some snacks that my mum asked us to get.we couldnt find the snacks and there were 2 kind secondary school boys who led us two very lost women to the snack shop.but we still couldnt find what she wants hmm.

went to suan lum again cos we had nowhere else to go.decided to give it a second chance.it was quite different on friday night as it was more crowded and more shops were opened.we still couldnt find anything we like to buy so we settled for dessert supper.

one thing i dont understand is why thai people like to make their drinks so sweet.everything has condensed milk drizzled on it even if they are already very very sweet.but the girls there are so skinny.WHY??

and then we saw his girlfriend who was really really pretty but when she opened her mouth to talk,we knew that she used to be a he.sigh.our status as women are really threatened.she was so pretty la.so unfair.

end of BKK trip.so,sorry my dear friends.i didnt have time to get you all souvenirs.next time la huh.i dont why im still so tired after sleeping so much yesterday :( just had cough syrup.i guess imma go nap awhile now..need to keep myself busy to stop thinking so much.

MONDAY BLUES

i believe that i am having the weirdest and most stubborn case of sore eyes ever.it was gone for a good 4 days and although i dont have a prize to give,guess what i saw in the mirror first thing this morning?TEKKKK!wrong!it's not sore eyes cos i couldn't open my right eye in the beginning.it was clamped shut with all the eye shit T___T i dont know why is it like this either.

and the lump in my eyelid.it did get smaller to a certain size and then it just stopped.maybe because i dont put hot compress as often anymore but when i have school,i dont have the time nor cloth+boiling water at school.i had a nightmare last night that i had to go for the surgery and the doctor plucked out all my lashes from my right eye but accidentally operated on the left eye instead FML.

i have the symptom of going to get sick soon from 'playing' in the rain.migraine and dizziness from menses T__T what is this?!ultimate sickness all in one go.still got stomach ache and nausea some more.

and my eye.okay,the lump got abit smaller but i get sore eye now too so i'm afraid that it might be infection?gahhh.i'm tired of doing the hot compress every other hour.boil water.wash hands with soap.take towel.put in boiling water.cool it abit and put onto eye.repeat about 12 times for a day.its so bad for my nails T__T but i guess that's better than scraping the thing out.sigh.

i went to see the doctor as i felt that the lump enlarged.the doctor told me that my eyelid has grown a lump due clogged oil gland at the lid.no idea of the cause.am supposed to put warm compress 4 times a day for a week and if it gets worse or still doesn't go away,i would have to get my eyelid flipped to cut the lump and scrape it out.i am praying that it will just disappear by itself tmr.

today marks the second time that i attend a wake.it's also the first time in my entire 21 years to see a lifeless body.he isn't my relative but my sister's colleague's son.i saw him pretty often because i used to work at my sister's salon and he visited his mum often.he also came to my house for every chinese new year except for this year because he was hospitalised.

tomorrow,as my few days birthday celebration starts...i guess i wont reach home before 12 for at least 3 days straight.

so,if you've seen my msn display pic or my facebook profile picture lately,you would've seen my new hairstyle.it feels pretty good to take a break from the straight hair i had.hehe.it took me some time to adjust(i thought i looked like a mushroom) but i kinda like it now.i love it especially when it's a little sorta kinda messy.whatever that's supposed to mean.

but ohh my.it was the most expensive haircut i ever had.$75.i had to keep reminding myself that it's okay.what better way to get those jap hair than getting a real imported from japan stylist to cut it right?and those 10 -15 mins long scalp massage is worth it.i think i'm amazing when it comes to brainwashing myself *pats self on the back.

however,it's damn high maintenance if i were to style it like the stylist did EVERYDAY.so i just tie it up on my lazy days..which are everyday.HAHAHA *self amusement.but i slept with my hair wet the other day(i know,bad news for hair and bad for health) and i woke up looking like a cavewoman T___T
