my scanner died so it pushes me to a really desperate state to get my neoprints scanned to my laptop and thus,i found out that i can use my freaking camera to snap the neoprint!awesome,no?although the image is quite blurry,at least the shiny shimmery effect is more obvious.i ♥ my camera to bits now.MWAH~

ANOTHER NEW DISCOVERY !

i ate 6 lou hei up to date this year.one at boyfriend's father's company dinner,one more at my sister's company dinner,one for reunion dinner,the next one was 'girly yusheng' with my mum and sisters on valentine's day,one was at a seafood restaurant with boyfriend and friends and the one today was the most unique.my aunt and uncle came to our house for visit after church and decided to do the lou hei thing last minute.we ran out of white carrot(which is what most people eat lou hei with) and substituted it with pomelo!haha.it tasted much nicer this way.

i planned to watch it twice but i decided to change my mind.grr!

sad to say but i am mighty disappointed with the way the movie turned out.

i have been anticipating the movie for so so long.

maybe my expectation is too high but the movie was blah for me.

the characters are no longer childhood friends and both Irish but Holly was American and they stayed in NYC.

and then in the book,Holly has many siblings but there was only one in the movie.

the thing that pissed me off the most was,who the freakin hell is that William Holly had one night stand with when they went for holiday that Gerry planned before he passed away?!!!

i know,he was Gerry's bandmate but it's not supposed to be this way!

Holly was still grieving at that period but this movie made her look....i dont know..

i am too angry to think,damn it!

and and and,in the movie,they didn't show how sad Gerry was when he wrote the letters and how he struggled to prepare everything for her.

i can continue to complain but i'll be hated for providing spoilers of this movie.

bottomline is,

i loved the book so much. :(

it makes people treasure people around them more,it allows you to take a peek of mature love instead of those comedic forgettable love stories that are overrated.and most importantly,it reminds us that love is a part of our life but death is too..

.

treat people around you better..you don't wanna regret someday that you spent too much time bickering about nonsensical stuff with someone instead of holding his/her hand feeling his/her warmth and love do you?

because even if you regret in the future and want to make it up to him/her,sometimes,

it might be too late.
